The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) provides Information Technology (IT) support to PEO MS which is a Continental United States (CONUS) organization. The OCIO provides centralized life cycle management, direction, guidance, and support for the acquisition, sustainment, maintainability, supportability, and implementation of the PEO, Information Mission Area (IMA). PEO MS is an approved Data Center providing hosting to multiple organizations, Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) throughout the US Army Acquisition community.DUTIES
Position is 100% On-site. Systems design, development, implementation, operations, and maintenance. Systems administration and maintenance on 4 separate networks consisting of approximately 95-100 ESXi Hosts, 200+VMs/appliances and over 450 vDI Windows 10 desktops. Configure Virtual Machine (VM) servers, create virtual desktops, and create VM views. Provide system level applications written and maintained by in-house developers, file systems and restricted shell access menus. Perform system administration, monitoring, and reporting of system reliability, availability, maintainability, capacity, and performance across the enterprise. Provide hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, system backups, system updates and helpdesk support for the PEO s Information Systems users, both wired and wireless, with Personal Computers (PCs) and Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) Perform hardware installations of new equipment, e.g., servers (e.g. Windows, Unix, Network Devices, and Virtual Machine Components), virtual file servers, and storage devices. Perform system analysis, design, implementation, sustainment and retirement activities in compliance with the PEO MS existing software development standards, including the PEO MS automated CM tool. Provide expertise in architecture, management, and performance tuning Provide hardware/software administration for server and network infrastructure. Responsible for access control, passwords, account creation and administration. Install, configure, test, operate, maintain, and manage networks and their firewalls, including hardware (e.g., hubs, bridges, switches, multiplexers, routers, cables, proxy servers, and protective distributor systems) and software that permit the sharing and transmission of all spectrum transmissions of information to support the security of information and information systems Continuously refine architecture, in order to sustain and scale current cloud infrastructure. Must Have Technical Skills
Experience implementing and managing Active Directory infrastructure. Excellent experience and knowledge with designing installing and implementing VMware ESX server, VMware virtual center, setting up V-Motion, HA, DRS, vSan, and related VMware products such as Loginsight, vROPS, and Vcloud Director. Strong leadership and communication skills and working experience with customers, end users. Experience Installing and Hardening RHEL 7. Extensive Experience in Microsoft Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, Server 2019. Experience with using Secure Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and STIG Viewer to assess and remediate vulnerabilities. Experience installing VMware Horizon Connection Servers and provisioning instant clone desktops.Non-Technical Skills

Working Conditions Required
Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.Strength Demands Required
