Jr. Data Scientist

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop solutions for real-time streaming applications
Ensure performance, availability and scalability of Data solutions, including (but not limited to) Elastic Search and Kafka
Work with other teams, including administrators, engineers and QA staff to maintain, support, and optimize environments
Design, tune and support monitoring solutions for continuously evolving environments
Collaborate with internal teams to achieve ongoing business objectives

Required Skills:

3+ years of development and/or engineering experience in an enterprise environment
Extensive experience developing data-driven solutions
Experience with NoSQL databases is a must
Must be very comfortable in Linux environment; basic system administration skills are a huge plus
Experience with scripting languages (Python is preferred)
Experience with integration of Software solutions, both Open Source and Commercial
