FLOSS Technical Writer

We are looking for a technical writer(s) geared towards GNU/Linux and FLOSS technologies. Your articles will feature various GNU/Linux configuration tutorials and FLOSS technologies used in combination with GNU/Linux operating system.

When writing your articles you will be expected to be able to keep up with a technological advancement regarding the above mentioned technical area of expertise. You will work independently and be able to produce at minimum 2 technical articles a month.

About this position:

• Depending on the candidate's experience the salary range is between $0.06-$0.09 AUD/word + BONUS
• Home based casual position from anywhere in the world
• Minimum 2 articles per month
• Article topics will be entirely of your choice but within a technical area mentioned above

Requirements:

• Excellent written English
• 3 - 5 years of Linux System Administration experience
• Working knowledge of GIT
• Basic HTML coding skills
• Attention to detail
• Regular bank account available at your disposal to receive funds
• Ability to create a formal invoice
